Police Tweaks v1.0 ETS2
This mod adjusts police fines and their occurrence
Reduced or eliminated fines when no cop is present. No longer will you face double fines if a cop sees you.
When no police officer is nearby, you won’t receive fines for:
– Operating without headlights
– Running a red traffic signal
– Speeding (without the presence of a speed camera)
And there are reduced chances for:
– Driving against traffic (decreased from 60% to 40% – if no police are present, someone might still report it)
– Speeding in front of a speed camera (now 90% likelihood instead of 100%)
Additionally, the time before receiving your first speeding fine has been increased, giving you an opportunity to slow down, and the duration between avoiding sleep fines has also been extended.
The penalty for vehicle collisions has been significantly reduced to about one-quarter of the default amount, as most accidents are due to AI behavior. You will still receive a notification but won’t have to pay the full charge or deal with truck damages.

How to install ETS2 mods or ATS Mods
Installing mods in Euro Truck Simulator 2 is simple. Just download the mod from this site and copy/unzip the files into the “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder. For American Truck Simulator, place the mods in the “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod” folder. You can use WinRAR or 7zip for extraction. After that, activate the mods you wish to use.
