This mod offers a complete overhaul of city names ensuring they are accurate, easy to read, and realistic.
Up-to-date and precise names:[*] — All cities are now represented with their current, official designations.[*] — Activating “additional city names” in settings will display local names marked with [*].[*] — Arabic and other unsupported names are substituted with standardized romanizations.[*] — Any outdated or historical names have been amended.
Logical and realistic abbreviations:[*] — Long names are replaced with commonly recognized abbreviations.
Multilingual support:[*] — Translations are currently available in English and Russian.[*] — If your language isn’t included yet, an international name or transliteration is provided instead.
Realistic importance scaling for cities:[*] — City names and icons are sized to reflect real-world population figures![*] — Extensive demographic data has been collected for nearly all settlements in the base game and major map mods.[*] — Capitals and major metropolises are more visually prominent, while smaller towns appear adequately modest.
Intelligent zoom functionality:[*] — In crowded regions, smaller towns disappear when zoomed out to maintain map clarity.[*] — As you zoom in, they reappear.

Installing ETS2 or ATS Mods[*] Installing mods for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is straightforward. Simply download the mod from here, then copy/unzip the files to: “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder. For ATS, place the mods in: “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod” folder. You can use WinRAR or 7zip to extract files. After that, activate the mods you wish to use.
