Real Traffic Density 1.55 for ETS2


This mod modifies various traffic settings for a more realistic experience. The traffic on the roads will become more appropriate and appear more natural.

Features:
Traffic density changes every half hour between 4:00 and 10:00 and 15:00 to 20:00; from 10:00 to 15:00 and 20:00 to 4:00, it adjusts every hour;
High traffic density during morning and afternoon hours, with a steady decline in the evening; peak traffic times are at 8:30 and 17:00;
Motorways experience high density during the day, while nighttime sees reasonable levels with a low point between 02:00 and 03:00;
Local roads maintain a relatively high density, allowing for convenient overtaking;
Balanced ratio of different vehicle types;
Very low traffic density on local roads at night;
Optimized traffic light cycles at all intersections (two different cycle types);
Extended yellow light duration to 3 seconds after green to minimize accidents;
Reduced yellow light duration to 1 second after red (exercise caution!);
Modified traffic light cycles in construction zones, with red lights remaining on for 12 seconds;
Increased the number of vehicles with headlights on during inclement weather;
Removed urban transport from rural roads;
Adjusted car color schemes;
Eliminated traffic from country roads except for agricultural vehicles;
Removed slow vehicles on expressways and city exits;
Introduced a new rule allowing some vehicles to exceed speed limits;
It is recommended to prioritize this density and intensity mod over maps and traffic packs.

How to Install ETS2 or ATS Mods
Installing mods in Euro Truck Simulator 2 is straightforward. Simply download the mod from here and place/unzip the files into the “My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod” folder. For American Truck Simulator, use “My Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod.” You can utilize WinRAR or 7zip to unzip the files. After that, activate the mods you want to use.
