For mod authors
Your mod is your work. Here's exactly how we treat it.
Our policy
- We never re-upload your files. Every download button on EuroTruckSimulator2.uk goes to the page you chose to publish on: Steam Workshop, your own website, the SCS forum or another official page you name.
- We credit you by name on every mod page, with a link to your profile or website if you have one.
- We write our own descriptions. We don't copy your text. If we've described your mod wrongly, tell us and we'll fix it.
- Pictures come from your own page. A mod page shows a YouTube video of the mod (embedded the normal way YouTube allows) or the preview picture and a few screenshots from the page you published on, such as your Steam Workshop page. They're loaded from there, not copied to our server, and every picture is credited to you with a link back. Don't want them shown? Tell us and we'll remove them straight away.
Changes and removal
If you'd like us to change your listing, link to a different page, add your new version or remove your mod completely, email us at info@eurotrucksimulator2.uk. We'll act on removal requests from a mod's author as quickly as we can, no questions asked.
Get your mod listed
Made something you're proud of? Use the Submit your mod form. Tell us where the official download is, which game versions it works with and any DLC it needs, and add a screenshot or YouTube video if you like. We review every submission by hand. Once it's approved, your mod gets its own page, credited to you, and the download button goes straight to your page.
