About this mod
The game has car-transporter jobs, but you can't buy the trailer. This mod adds three ownable vehicle carriers to the trailer dealer: a 2-axle car transporter and 3-axle truck and van transporters. They carry the game's own vehicle loads, from cars, SUVs and pickups to caravans, vans and even semi-trucks.
It uses the game's newer cargo system, so cargo names are right and it shouldn't break with each update. The trailers can be repainted in the default colour or any solid or metallic shade. Built for 1.61 and updated on 22 October 2026.

How to install Ownable Car Transporter
- Open the mod's Steam Workshop page (sign in to Steam if asked) and press Subscribe. Steam downloads it for you.
- Start Euro Truck Simulator 2. On the profile screen, open the Mod Manager.
- Find Ownable Car Transporter in the list and move it to Active mods, then press Confirm changes.
Notes for this mod
- The trailers unlock at level 10 and need the Valuable Cargo skill.
- Try it on a test profile first. After buying, sleep once, then pick vehicle jobs from the Cargo Market.
- Sell the trailer before you turn the mod off, or your save may have problems.
- Not usable on TruckersMP.
