About this mod

Real trucks have their fifth wheel set to suit the trailer and the axle loads, and this mod lets you do the same on the Next Gen Scania R and S. A new accessory slot above the fifth wheel shifts it in 50 mm steps: 12 positions on 4x2 chassis, 8 on most 6x2 chassis and 13 on the long 6x2, 6x4 and 8x4 chassis.

The plate and its bolts move together, and the trailer's coupling point and collision zone move with them, so trailers sit where the model shows. It also fixes the small mismatch between the stock coupling point and the fifth-wheel model. Made for 1.61 and updated in October 2026.

Features

  • Fifth wheel adjustable in 5 cm steps
  • Up to 13 positions depending on the chassis
  • Coupling point and collision zone follow the plate
  • Fixes the stock coupling-point misalignment
