This mod hasn't been confirmed for ETS2 1.61 yet. The newest version it's listed for is 1.57. It may still work, but check the author's page first.
About this mod
Replace selected ambient sounds with a quieter winter soundscape for snowy driving.
Drive Safely limits insect activity and adds the possibility of distant, muffled thundersnow. Additional changes, including muted mowing and harvesting sounds, depend on Sound Fixes Pack. Place this addon above Sound Fixes Pack and Frosty Winter Weather. The creator tested ETS2 1.57 and notes that the thundersnow feature may apply only to the ATS Frosty configuration.
The author lists ETS2 1.57 support. This has not been independently tested in-game.

How to install Winter Sounds ETS2 v2025DEC31
- Download the mod from truckymods.io.
- If you get a
.zip,.raror.7zfile, extract it. You need the.scsfile(s) inside. - Move the
.scsfile(s) intoDocuments\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod. Create themodfolder if it isn't there. - Start the game, open the Mod Manager on the profile screen, move Winter Sounds ETS2 v2025DEC31 to Active mods and press Confirm changes.
