About this mod

Rework vehicle light flares and tailor headlights with six beam patterns and twelve lamp colours. Optional modules adjust traffic lights and street lamps. Enable both headlight modules when using that feature. The Traffic Addon requires Sound Fixes Pack; select the addon matching your game version.

Release: 4.9.1. Author-listed game compatibility: 1.61 1.60. Source last updated 2026-10-19. Compatibility is based on the author’s listing, not an independent in-game test.

How to install Better Flares ETS2 v4.9.1

  1. Download the mod from truckymods.io.
  2. If you get a .zip, .rar or .7z file, extract it. You need the .scs file(s) inside.
  3. Move the .scs file(s) into Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod. Create the mod folder if it isn't there.
  4. Start the game, open the Mod Manager on the profile screen, move Better Flares ETS2 v4.9.1 to Active mods and press Confirm changes.
