About this mod
In the base game every place you can stop at (loading bays, fuel pumps, garages, dealers, rest areas, ferries) is marked with a big glowing icon floating above the road. This mod swaps them for realistic painted markings on the ground, in worn yellow paint that doesn't glow, so they blend into the world and can be read from either direction.
Dead-end barriers become yellow hatching with cones. The triggers themselves are unchanged, so everything works as before. It supports 1.60 and 1.61, was tested with ProMods 2.84, and has over 12,000 subscribers.
Features
- Separate markings for dispatch, loading, unloading and delivery
- Fuel, service, garage, dealer, rest, ferry, train, toll and border markings
- Special Transport and bus/car jobs supported
- Dead ends shown as yellow hatching with cones
- Works on the base map and ProMods
How to install Realistic & Immersive Interaction Markers
- Open the mod's Steam Workshop page (sign in to Steam if asked) and press Subscribe. Steam downloads it for you.
- Start Euro Truck Simulator 2. On the profile screen, open the Mod Manager.
- Find Realistic & Immersive Interaction Markers in the list and move it to Active mods, then press Confirm changes.
Load order: Put it above ProMods and above any other marker or icon mod.
Notes for this mod
- The dead-end hatching is only paint, so you can drive through it. The author warns you may reach areas you couldn't before, or fall off the map, so don't cross it.
- Some places don't use a standard marker, so nothing changes there.
Known conflicts
- Use only one interaction-marker or icon replacement mod.
