About this mod
This DBM mod upscales all 2,636 traffic-sign textures (speed limits, city boards, motorway and direction signs, fuel and speed-camera signs) for every country, keeping the original colours and the printed wear so they still look like metal signs. Letters and edges stay clean, without halos round the text.
Road paint gets the same treatment: lane lines, zebra crossings, arrows and painted text are upscaled with the asphalt grain kept, and every distance level is rebuilt so lines don't turn into a smear 50 m ahead. It's textures plus sign layout files only, so it's safe to add or remove. Built for 1.61 (and 1.62).

How to install DBM Signs & Markings 4K
- Open the mod's Steam Workshop page (sign in to Steam if asked) and press Subscribe. Steam downloads it for you.
- Start Euro Truck Simulator 2. On the profile screen, open the Mod Manager.
- Find DBM Signs & Markings 4K in the list and move it to Active mods, then press Confirm changes.
Load order: Put it below DBM Lighting Nova and above road and terrain textures such as DBM Road Textures. Map mods go below all DBM mods.
Notes for this mod
- About 1.3 GB. If the game crashes while loading, the author advises a bigger Windows page file (32 GB).
- With ProMods, load this mod above ProMods, or some direction boards can show white panels.
Known conflicts
- Replaces other sign and road-marking texture mods. Use only one.
