About this mod

Many buildings, cliffs, company depots and walls in ETS2 use small, low-resolution textures that look blocky when you drive past. This mod rebuilds 2,881 of them at up to 1024 px, so windows, bricks, plaster and rock look crisp, while keeping memory use reasonable even in big cities.

It covers 625 base-game buildings, over 1,000 other world textures such as fuel stations, border posts, docks and bridges, and 1,229 ProMods buildings, which are only used when ProMods is on. Colours and layouts match the originals. Built for 1.61.

How to install DBM World & Buildings HD

1. Open the mod's Steam Workshop page (sign in to Steam if asked) and press Subscribe. Steam downloads it for you.
2. Start Euro Truck Simulator 2. On the profile screen, open the Mod Manager.
3. Find DBM World & Buildings HD in the list and move it to Active mods, then press Confirm changes.

Load order: Put it above map mods (ProMods, RusMap and others). It works with all other DBM mods.

Notes for this mod

• About 3 GB. If the game crashes while loading, the author advises a bigger Windows page file.
• The textures were upscaled with AI and then checked against the originals.
