About this mod
Use an SCS-style world-map background with broad geographic coverage for large map combinations.
SaltySeeds06 includes Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, North America and substantial parts of South America, plus positions for selected fictional maps. This changes the map background rather than adding drivable roads. Credits on the official page acknowledge Freeman, GMC Community, Melphiz, DOWL and BenganJ for work or knowledge used during development.
The author labels compatibility “All Game Versions”. This is a broad author claim; independent testing on 1.61 has not been performed.

How to install Global Background Map – SCS Style v2.7
- Download the mod from truckymods.io.
- If you get a
.zip,.raror.7zfile, extract it. You need the.scsfile(s) inside. - Move the
.scsfile(s) intoDocuments\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod. Create themodfolder if it isn't there. - Start the game, open the Mod Manager on the profile screen, move Global Background Map – SCS Style v2.7 to Active mods and press Confirm changes.
