About this mod

Enhance damp-road reflections while keeping Grimes’ seasonal weather framework. Version 2.5 is updated for the ETS2 1.61 season releases and adds puddle effects alongside stronger wet-road reflections.

Place it above New Summer, Spring, Early Autumn or Late Autumn/Mild Winter. Do not use it with Frosty, and disable competing weather, graphics and lighting overhauls. Set weather quality to Ultra, reflection scaling to 200%, reflection detail to High and enable normal maps. The author notes that very old map areas, including the UK and Going East, do not receive the improved reflections. Players without a supported season should choose the separate standalone edition.

How to install Realistic Rain Reflections for Grimes Seasons v2.5

  1. Download the mod from grimesmods.wordpress.com.
  2. If you get a .zip, .rar or .7z file, extract it. You need the .scs file(s) inside.
  3. Move the .scs file(s) into Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod. Create the mod folder if it isn't there.
  4. Start the game, open the Mod Manager on the profile screen, move Realistic Rain Reflections for Grimes Seasons v2.5 to Active mods and press Confirm changes.
