About this mod

Revamped Dynamic Suspension makes the stock trucks move like heavy vehicles. The chassis and cab suspension are softer, so the truck leans into corners, the nose dips when you brake and the cab rocks over bumps. The driver's seat moves naturally without the camera shaking, braking and the clutch are more progressive, trailers shift their weight realistically and lifted axles carry the right load.

TigerMods has worked on the mod since 2020 and updates it after every game patch; the Workshop copy was last updated on 21 October 2026 and has over 110,000 lifetime subscribers. This free Workshop "Lite" version covers all default trucks. The author's own page also offers it free with a keyboard-steering add-on and support for modded trucks.

How to install Revamped Dynamic Suspension - Lite

  1. Open the mod's Steam Workshop page (sign in to Steam if asked) and press Subscribe. Steam downloads it for you.
  2. Start Euro Truck Simulator 2. On the profile screen, open the Mod Manager.
  3. Find Revamped Dynamic Suspension - Lite in the list and move it to Active mods, then press Confirm changes.

Load order: Put it at the top of your list, above other physics mods. Modded trucks go below it.

Notes for this mod

  • The author's recommended settings: steering sensitivity 0.75, braking intensity 100%, truck and trailer stability 25-50%, suspension and cabin suspension stiffness 0%, ABS and traction control on.
  • If the Mod Manager says "Downgrade required", the game has updated before the mod. Wait for the Workshop update or switch to the previous game version in Steam (Properties > Betas).
  • Single player and Convoy only. It isn't allowed on TruckersMP.
