About this mod
The game's stock mirrors make cars behind you look further away than they are. This small mod retunes the size, height and field of view of every mirror so they work the way mirrors on a European truck do.
The big main mirrors become flat, so what you see in them is undistorted and at its real distance. The smaller convex mirrors show a wide-angle view that covers the blind spots, and the front and kerb mirrors get better angles too.
It's one of the most subscribed mods on the ETS2 Workshop, with around 400,000 current subscribers, and the author updated it for 1.61 on 26 September 2026.

How to install True Mirror FOV
- Open the mod's Steam Workshop page (sign in to Steam if asked) and press Subscribe. Steam downloads it for you.
- Start Euro Truck Simulator 2. On the profile screen, open the Mod Manager.
- Find True Mirror FOV in the list and move it to Active mods, then press Confirm changes.
Load order: The author asks for it to be at the top of your mod list, above every other mod, to avoid crashes.
